Elad Israel Cohen, 23, based in Tel Aviv, two years on the decks. I studied at Just Music College, finished as a top student, and today I'm an instructor on their DJ courses.
Here's what actually counts: every room so far has stayed full to the end, and the most common thing said afterwards is some version of who was that?
No agency, no inherited residency. Just a lot of hours on the decks and a stubborn habit of building the set for the room in front of me rather than replaying what worked last weekend.
The sound

Five directions, five different jobs. The genre matters less than reading which kind of night you're in.
House
Groove first. Gets people moving before they've decided to, which is the only way an early set works.
Afro House
Warm, percussive, rolling. My favourite thing to play and the reason most people remember the night.
Mainstream
Weddings and private parties. Keeping people who'd never agree on music on the same floor.
Trance
For the hours when the room has committed. Long builds, patient releases, no shortcuts.
Techno
When it needs to drop into something darker and harder, and stay there.
