The honest version
I'm 23 and I've been playing events for two years. Before that there were three years of mixing at home for nobody, which is where the actual work happened - learning that a set is a shape, not a playlist, and that the interesting decisions are the quiet ones in the first twenty minutes.
I studied at Just Music College and finished as a top student. The final exam was a ten-minute set - it's filmed, and it's on this site. Today I'm back there from the other side of the booth, as an instructor on their DJ courses. Teaching someone else to read a floor is the thing that improved my own reading most.
What I'd point at instead of experience: every room so far has stayed full to the end. Some of the bookings came from people who were simply standing on the floor at another one.
No agency, no inherited residency, no shortcut. If you book me you're getting someone who turns up early, sound-checks properly, and takes your night more seriously than the fee justifies.

How long have you been doing this?
Playing events, two years. Mixing, about five. I studied at Just Music College, graduated with distinction, and today I'm an instructor on their DJ courses. I'm not going to pretend to be a veteran - better that you watch a clip and decide for yourself.
Can I hear something before committing?
Yes, and you should. The Watch page has filmed clips from recent nights with real sound on them. A short sample says more than anything else.
What do you play?
House and afro house most of the time, mainstream at weddings and private parties, and trance or techno when the room is ready for it. The genre matters less than reading which kind of night it is.
What does it cost?
It depends on date, set length, location and event type. Send the details and you'll get a specific number, not a range.
What equipment do you need?
For a private event I can bring everything. If the venue has a booth already, I'll play on it. Tell me what's in the room and I'll tell you if anything's missing.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can. Summer weekends go first.
